happy conference and EASTER!:)

well this weekend was a blast! clint and i got to go up to conference and a mission reunion with some friends of ours the waters! ALWAYS have a good time with them!:) we left thursday after work and drove ALL the way there…got stuck in a bit of a snow storm, but we made it! we stayed at his mission buddies house (andrew) and he waited up for us till basically 4 in the morning…haha. 


on friday we went and played in the snow…well the boys did! i gave them the idea of trash bag sleding…when i was up at school, we didn't have sleds so we used TRASH bags.. and it was the FUNest thing ever! so..they finally caved and took my suggestion. and from what i heard and saw they had a lot of fun!:) then on saturday we went to the morning session and it was wonderful, its incredible how spiritually uplifting conference is. CONFERENCE always brightens my outlook on life, I am grateful for the spirit and the words of the prophets, truly was inspired by our Heavenly Father. then…that night was clint's mission reunion! haven't gotten photos yet..but it was so fun. it is great to hear how wonderful of a missionary clint was. His president was called into the area 70 last general conference, so it had an extra special meaning to go and visit them. The first thing his president did, was give him an hug, looked at me and said, "such a good missionary, i love him" so simple, but so sweet, the spirit testified of the importance of missionaries right then and there. I AM SO LUCKY to have such a wonderful man by my side…then  Sister Asconavieta (president's wife) said to me in her broken english, "elder lawlor was a good missionary, good missionary=good husband." i laughed but she is SOOOooo right she cares so much about those boys, you can just tell how much she loves each of "her kids" haha! But it was the neatest thing, president Asconavieta wanted to have a one minute interview with all that came, he told us to always keep a current temple recommend and to take care of each other. such a wonderful night, full of memories and laughter!


then on sunday was EASTER..didn't feel like easter, just because we were away from family but it was still wonderful, we left after the 1st session and got home around 10! SUCH A NEEDED weekend, it was full of hope, love and relaxation!
