anna's birthday!

HAPPY 4th birthday to sweet little anna!:) she had a blast at her little birthday party, so many friends! SHE is such a little social butterfly! leah is too! its hialrious i take a picture and she says, "i see" then she sees it and then she says, "awe" haha everytime! so cute! lOOOooooove it! but anyway...our present from us to anna was a sleepover and a movie! haha. perfect huh? the first thing she says is, "WOOOOOooo i get to sleep in the big bed with you two" haha. i think we convinced her that the guest bed is cooler! hhaah..such a beautiful girl with such spunk for life! so blessed to be her aunt. she teaches me continually to be more christlike! such a joy in mine and clint's life!

breakin in the house!

so...we were workin outside this past saturday cleanin clint's car to get ready to sell! and we needed to go somewhere really fast, so i went inside got my purse preceded to lock the door and shut it. i looked at clint and said, "you have a key right?" (probably should've asked before hand wink, wink) so LUCKLY we had the window's open to get some air in, and we forgot to lock the one tiniest window. haha. so clint hopped through it, it was QUITE HILARIOUS to watch! haha. hope you enjoy these as much as i did!:) haha

just random events!

well...its been quite the busy month around here, but i don't want to forget some of the highlights! we had everyone over for FHE on monday. So fun! we wrote down what we are grateful for and then played pictionary and everyone had to guess! so fun! definitely recommend it! had dinner and enjoyed each others company. we watched THIS VIDEO for our message! It was so fun to have everyone over. Our first time really having the family over!:)

On her actually birthday was jared's game! got a picture with the whole fam. + 2 extras! hahaand last but not least. halloween! a little late yes i know. but these were on my dad's camera! anna was little Bo peep! and carl was her lost sheep...leah was a witch and rebecca was her broom! (even though everyone thought she was a scarecrow) haha. it was fun!:)

clint's niece elise was a princess and emery was a cheerleader!

we decorated sugar cookies as a family for halloween jared was crackin everyone up! so meticulous! made everything perfect! so yummy!

SO...today was our ward service project...(for the elders and high priest) and it just so happened to be in our neck of the woods. i wish i got a before picture. but you will get the gist! We have an ally behind our house. FULL of crap. branches, brush, and interesting things! and our neighbor had a HUGE dead tree they wanted to get ride of! so our wonderful Bishop had the idea to do a service project. Can i just tell you what service does for people? They had a blast being together, talking, laughing, working. I can testify that service is the Lord's work. It is what brings us closer to people and truly lets us love like the Savior loves. I am so grateful for these members that gave up their saturday to come help us. So blessed to be around such good people. I can tell you i love them more than i did before, and therefore my testimony has grown tremendously. SO thankful for a Heavenly Father that is watching out for us.

.and i am also so grateful for so many other things as well. i can't believe it is already November 6th! talk about time flying! i did want to say a few things about my beautiful mom! IT IS HER 50th birthday today. (she is going to kill me if she ever reads this) but i am so happy she is my mom. blessed beyond measure!

here is a few things i love about her:

1) Always willing to give her advice

2) sooOOOoo good with kids (she can't wait to get more grand-babies)

3) loves to embarrass me! i just laugh cuz she ends up embarrassing herself!

4) continually teaching me how to be a woman

5) love me even with all my mistakes, weaknesses, failures

6) teaches me to endure hard things

7) is an EXCELLENT cook, baker, sewer!

8) supports, and encourages me in whatever i put my mind too

9) given me life! she is a wonderful mother raised 5 beautiful children

10) snorts when she laughs sometimes

11) is a horrible dancer! (haha) just kidding

12) sings to songs she doesn't know the words too

13) FINALLY admitted she might be going deaf! (HAHAHAHAHA)

14) taught me how to loyal

15) loves deeply

exhausted...worn out...tired...

SERIOUSLY!!! please can i get a moment to breathe? i have been non stop for the last week and 1/2 and i want a break. A BIG BREAK!!! non of this weekend stuff i am thinkin an exotic getaway for 3 weeks! how do these places look?!?!
hhaahahah. ( i know its a dream...but its better than reality...) i really have been adjusting to this full time business. i definitely DO NOT LOVE IT! but...finding joy in the journey is the trick...(thanks Wendi) so i am going to try and harder, cuz its SOOooOOoooo easy to get bummed out with the plethora of things i have to do, be, and act...

nEw JoB!!:)

so i posted quite while ago about a possible job. well...the photographer one didn't work out. (yet) hahaha you can always have hope right?!?!

BUT...you see. i went into a interview about a week ago to

it is an online company that has uh everything scrapbook! its the warehouse here in AZ. haha. so the interview went really good! and last friday i got a call and GOT THE JOB! its such a blessing! might i add its not the most GLORIOUS job ever. which i am sure i will have lots of stories to vent about...but what i get to do is pick, pack and ship! haha pick the orders, pack the orders and ship the orders! but its a job, and its a job that has a-lot of benefits. here is the list so i don't forget (wink wink) 1)works around my school schedule, 2)way nice people, 3)health and dental benefits, 4) overtime, 5)getting to know more product that is out there, 6)paid breaks, 7)30 min lunch, 8) close to home, 9)don't have to deal with crazy customers and 10)ALOT of thinking time. but the best so far has been...

getting free stuff! on my second day. SECOND day mind you one of the warehouse managers came up to me and asked me if i wanted to do a project for the website. Basically i embellish the project and they put it up on the website to give other people ideas and hopefully in turn buy the product!

I am excited. I LOVE doing this type of stuff, and the cherry on top is the free stuff i mentioned. I get to use the products they have! HOW COOL is that? haha. anyway enough about that!

The Lord has definitely answered our prayers. And clint and I couldn't be more grateful for this little job. Its full time so its pretty busy in the lawlor household. but its all worth it, gotta keep our eye on the prize!

its ALMOST the weekend. H A L L E L U J A H... haha.

L-A-W-L-O-R!

okay so...yesterday i had a spurt. wanted to get my creative juices flowing! can i just tell you. SO RELAXING! sheesh. much needed because yesterday was a zoo!!

so here is what i came up with! i downloaded these fab letters from houseof3 LOVE LOVE LOVE! totally worth the money! i will be making lots more!:)

so anyway. i took each letter and made them unique

. thats what i love about being creative. everyone and everything is different!

so while i was doing this banner it got me thinking about what it means to be a lawlor and how i want to honor the name. Not only in the

extended lawlor family but my very own.. :)

here is what i have come up with.

and of course there are tons more! It is pretty cool getting a new last name. i loved my old

one alot and still do, but i have loved being a lawlor!:)

what do you do on saturday?

so all growing up saturday was a day of chores, football, and P-L-A-Y!!!:) and of course to get ready for sunday! (wink, wink)

I loved saturdays...i lived for them! (anyone else feel me?) hahah but who am i trying to kid...i still live for them.....recently they have become the only day i get to spend quality time with my hubby! (other than sunday) SO THANKFUL for that!

speakin of him...one of his favorite things to do is work out in the yard. which i am totally okay with...if he didn't like being out there i would be a little concerned! haha anyway clint takes alot of pride in our yard. his dad always says, "pride and ownership"

which clint has internalized and now it is his personal playground! haha i love it! i am glad he has an outlet to release some of life's everyday stress!:) so here he is

...playin on his dad's tractor! we are getting ready for winter grass. my dad came over and ran through some things with us like planning the yard and helped us vizualize what its going to look like! (so thankful for dad's! WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THEM!?!?!!:) definitely got me all STOKED! i love grass and i love a B-E-A-utiful yard. can't wait to get it all up and going...i will do before and after's when its all green!:)

okay....so i couldn't resist!!:) HAHA

so as i am complaining i don't have any decorations...it dawned on me that i could steal my moms!!:) hAHAHAHahhaha. perfect right? okay so i didn't really steal them, they are on uh loan...hahaa. she isn't decorating this year so i figure. might as well put them to good use! I want to have a halloween party so i at least need to be somewhat decorative! haha. so. there you go. i got a little excited and wanted to get it all done today. hahah clint came home from work and this butler was standing in our kitchen...he won't admit it, but i know it scared him. shoot it scared me...and I KNEW it was there! haha. it shakes when you go by it! so fun! and someday i want my own! hahah oh and another little side note... i had to transport it in my little car. and it disassembles so half of him was in my front seat! i got plenty of weird looks! lol!!:) ahahaha anyway... i am sure i will do more and i didn't take pictures of everything. but. these are my fav. :) WHAT are you halloween ideas!?!? i got a few up my sleeve. but. they take time!:) i'll share em' when i get them done!

FIRST OF ALL uh tomorrow is O C T O B E R FIRST!!:) crazy talk...everyone getting there decorations out? oh wait. don't have any! haha :( but anyway...

So those who haven't read the October Ensign this month...well...you should! There is an article about blogging! hahaha. i cracked up when i saw it! But how cool that the Church is really responding to our generation. I think its incredible how much technology there is out there. This article basically encourages members to share day-to-day experiences with the gospel; i.e how it touches our life, how we recognize the spirit, the hope it brings, etc... So. i am going to start. click

AND I CAN'T wait for this weekend! we get to hear prophets and apostles teach us! I am so blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am grateful to know where i came from, what i am doing here on this earth and where i will be going. It brings such happiness and peace into my life!

a much needed weekend get-AWAY!!

so i have decided that i need vacations to keep my sanity...i do NOT know how you mothers do it. i am glad i am not in that phase of my life yet...juggling school, a husband, hopefully work soon, home, our families...is enough for me...

anyway we decided to take a couple days and peace out to CA! rebecca and carl wanted to take the girls to sea world so we figured we would tag along! GOING with little kids is theeee best. anna and leah had the time of their lives! so much fun to watch their expressions and their little bodies constantly exploring!

We started our friday out with a early morning wake up call of 4:00 a.m clint drove the whole way. i tried to stay awake, but uh...as you can see. i didn't!

haha. we got into san diego around 10:00ish and headed straight to the beach! SO much stinkin fun! It was clint and carl's first time boogie boardin! they had so much fun!

everyone had so much fun! it was freezing but TOTALLY worth it! looooOOVed every second of it!

so we ate some lunch there and stayed till about 4. then we drove to our hotel, got all cleaned up and headed out to P.F. changs! DE-licous. WE WERE all so exhausted, we couldn't even keep our eyes open! we all got a little too much s u n...it was one of those days were it was overcast so you think you aren't getting sunburned. we all got fooled! haha. but.

we got back to the hotel, and headed to bed.

ON saturday we headed to SEA world!

got there right when the park opened! we had a day full of WALKING, fun, and sun!!:) fed the dolphins, sting rays, and seals! watched some shows, went on the one and only roller-coaster, ate and headed home! once again. totally trashed. enjoy the pictures!! i want to go back sooooOOOOoooo soon! hopefully we

can go in nov. for a friends wedding. but we will see!!:) oh and p.s. the whale isn't ours...we saw it on the way home. thought it was hilarous

ANYWAY! thanks to an awesome husband who would do anything for me! which includes waking up at 4

a.m and driving to california!!:) haha

sweet husband!

SO i woke up and had breakfast this morning and look at this? HAHA first of all. i hardly ever eat cereal in the morning...so i didn't see it for like 5 days and clint kept trying to drop hints like, " you haven't been eating cereal lately have you" i would text him how hungry i was and he would reply, "GO eat some cereal" uh... mind you i am thinkin, "WHY do you care if i eat cereal in the morning" haha. i did think to go look at the cereal but i just got busy every time i thought about it! HAHA anyway. thanks to a wonderful husband!:) all you marrieds out there...think of something clever to do for your sweetheart! makes life fun!:)

workin out with the big girls...

so little miss leah has to be apart of EVERYTHING!! (reminds me of ME) haha. but my sisters and i have been doing P90X. it has been going really well. i feel way stronger and doesn't everyone love that! i really believe that exercise can fix ALOT of things! just wish it was a bit easier! haha. anyway...if you haven't heard of it you should go check it out!

P90X but just to warn you. its stinkin hard work!

BUT. leah and anna every morning go and get their towels and put them right in front of the TV and stretch there arms, reach their toes, and then there attention span is shot. BUT today i snapped a few of leah just to show you how cute it is...trying to be like the big girls!:)

well unfortunately...

i didn't get the job...well yet...she told me to call her at the end of the month...due to the economic situation...not enough business to hire me! so we will keep prayin somethin happens! thanks to all those that are concerned...we really hope something happens soon! we sure need it!
