THE LAWLOR campout…WAS such a blast. it was so fun to get away from the hectic schedule of life and go and enjoy the mountains. ***NOTE to self.*** DO NOT go camping during monsoon season…it was quite the adventure i do have to admit. amid our huge thunder storm...the weather for the most part was beautiful! some of our activities included games, shotgun shooting, fishing, getting stuck in mud, biking, telling stories, laughing, talking, and EATING! haha...there is something about camp fires, roasting marshmallows, the woods and dutch ovens. they are wonderful! haha anyway memories were made, friendships strengthed and lots of service rendered! THANKS for a good time everyone!:)missed you ellee and geoff!!

SHOT GUN shooting! so i got clint a shotgun for christmas last year… sadly this was our second time shooting with it…haha... we shot for a good 2 hours and loved it…burton had this little pulley thing he had contrapt-ed and we all took turns sitting on it and pulling the string that made the clay pigeon fly!
i love this picture…i know i have TOO many pictures of clint and i just smiling at the camera. but i really love this one…i loved being up in the mountains, my appreciation has grown since i have married into this family!:)

this was the rain storm that blew through our camp…all of the men+me and emallee went fishing with the boys and between the time we had driven away and gotten to the lake this happened. A HUGE STORM... lightening was striking not even 100 feet from the trailer everyone was in...you can see on the tree that it took some bark with it! LUCKLY it was raining really hard and no fire was started.
we had to relocate camp kinda. Everyone pitched in and helped move the canopies dug some ditches and moved all the cooking stuff. GRATEFUL it happened in the middle of the day and NOT at night…it was a beautiful mess!:) haha
we all had such a good time!

So much fun and such great great memories. There is nothing like a storm in the mountains is there. What great pictures and what a wonderful family. Did you get any crocheting done? I googled crochet flowers and watched a tutorial and have done a few myself. I only had crochet thread for now but they are darling and I am going out of my box. I love tutorials cuz i am a visual learner. Love you tons girlie.
