well...it has been crazy around here! school started, and the instant stress of getting things done has begun. I am the type of personality that has to get things done the moment i receive them. I get so stressed out when i know i have something to do that I'm not doing. For example homework: i have been that way since i can remember. I like getting it done and having it out of the way so i can enjoy myself. This semester is going to be rough, i'm taking accounting, business, microeconomics, brief calculus and a work out class (sounds easy but you have to have a certain amount of hours. pretty hard!). SHEESH right?!? im gonna loose my mind! BUT at the exact same time. I LOVE being busy, i love having so much to do and then getting it all done! its the best feeling!
in the midst of being extremely busy, last weekend i had the privilege to go and hear Elder and Sister Bednar speak. it was one of the most uplifting, spiritual experiences i have ever had. It was absolutely packed to the gilds! they had to turn people away to go to different buildings! Anyway, i learned so much but what stuck out in my mind was the the principle of ACTION. faith takes action. we cannot move forward without faith. We need to show the Lord that we are trying our best and trusting that he will guide our steps...He shared with us that the apostles sometimes don't always know what to do, but they know the direction they need to go and by GOING and DOING the Lord eventually sheds light to what he wants them to do! I know that is what is happening in my life. I am walking in blind faith. Without the hope and trust that i have in my Savior i have no clue where i would be! I loved how fun the evening was, i laughed ALOT and learned so much! It worked like a question answer session. It's ironic because just a couple days before this happened i was talking to my best friend and was like, "i wish i had a prophet standing next to me answering all my questions" LOW and behold. I GOT IT! the Lord answered soooo many of my prayers that night! i wrote like 7 pages of notes. All in all the spirit was undeniably there. I am thankful for my savior and his great plan of happiness. He loves me unconditionally and for that i am eternally indebted to him!
