future mrs. LAWLOR!?!?! WOOOO

HOOOOOOOOOO!!!

WELL it is official. for all those that read this. you will get the real scoop! haha.

its hilarious so be prepared!! :) well i think it is!!

Alright this is what went down:

On Friday it was like any other night. We went and hung out with one of his mission buddies! No big deal right? AND mind you i was totally convinced and really thought he was going to do it on Saturday so i had no hunches, no worries, nothing. SO we are on our way home and i told him, "i think erika is gonna spend the night tonight" i didn't tell him the real reason why she was spending the night. my reason was because i wanted to have one last sleepover before i was engaged...(call me a little girl but. its the truth) so anyway we really didn't talk much on the way home, cuz we were both kinda meh. so he drops me off (12:30 a.m.) and we said goodbye like every other night. Our routine is the same: 1. he tells me when he gets home. 2. did everything go okay when you checked in. and 3. a goodnight text. so we made it through 1 and 2 no problems.
IN the mean time i am talkin to erika (my best friend) and i was like,"hey you can come over now!" well. she was in a dead sleep and so we both decided we would just do something tomorrow.

WELL i still needed to check in with my mom so i asked her if i could call her back. I went downstairs and my mom was already asleep, so i just decided to get ready for bed...brush my teeth, wash my face blah blah blah.

I call her back and i did notice her alittle more chipper! her voice wasn't so blah. YOU WANNA KNOW WHY?!?! clint had called her and said, "you still spending the night?" and she was like, "i was going too but not anymore" and clint says, "GOOD cuz i am doing it tonight" NATURALLY SHE flips right? so anyway.

our conversation lasted quite awhile and all of it had to do with, 'WHEN IS HE GONNA PROPOSE?!?!" i was like flipping out because i had remembered that we had an adult session of stake conference and i knew that if i would have told him he would want to go and hold off proposing. SO i was in a serious dilemma.

BUT erika kept her cool and kept saying stuff like, "well. just play it by ear. i am sure he would skip one meeting" SO we kinda got off that subject and i was just chillin in my bed. mind you. i sleep with hardly anything on. a tank top if your lucky!! (HAHAH you probably didn't want to know that but its important) so were talkin away and i hear this noise. and i think to myself, "oh my pen must have dropped" no big deal. still talkin to erika. well erika says, "uh i need to go to the bathroom" im thinkin "okay whatever go! haha" so i am off of the phone at that point.

i hear a noise again and i still think, "man that pen is rolling for along time. weird" hAHAHAHAHHAH oh my gosh. such a nerd.

and then i hear it again and this time it was alot of noise. WELL low and behold it was CLINT throwing rocks at my window. I BASICALLY wetted the bed. I THREW the covers off and tried finding my pants. I COULD NOT FIND THEM ANYWHERE!! !hahahahaha i couldn't think straight, the whole time i am thinking, "NO WAY. not happening. UH HUH. not possible"

oh man. so i get some pants on with just a tank top and i walk out onto my balcony. and i see clint.
i just smiled and said, "WHAT are you doing here" and he was like. "you said i would never sneak out" hahaha. which i really didn't and still am shocked that he did. so anyway i was like well.. umm.. "i am immodest" so he told me to go get a sweater on. i did and i thought he was wanting me to come downstairs. so i did. but i was wrong...hahaa

i gave him a hug and he was AS STIFF as a bored and completely shaking. so i really knew something was up.

so he tells me to go back upstairs.
i come back out on my balcony and he has his guitar. he says, "i am gonna serenade you" stinkin cute huh?

so he sang the memories of us by keith urban and in the last verse he changed and said stuff like wife and loving you forever" and to be completely honest still at that point i thought he was like just prepping me for tomorrow. CAN YOU SAY DENIAL!?!? LOL!!! hahaha

but he gets done (which i totally teared up when he started singing) and tell him he did such a good job. and he is like, "i brought something for you" he whips out some red roses. and im like aw. how cute!! and then he hops onto my BBQ thing and starts telling me how much he loves me and how he is gonna 'love me like nobody loves me' and i can't really remember how i said it but i was like, 'can i come down now?'

so i grab the roses. smell them. and tell them their beautiful. i give him a hug and he is still shaking and so nervous. by this point i am freaking out!!!

and THEN
he either said, "i have something else for you or OH. i forgot" something like that and

then he got down on one knee and as sad as this is i can't remember what he said. i was too focused on the HUGE box in his pocket!! hahaha but the gist was. "i love you and want to spend my life with you, will you marry me?

I SAID OF COURSE I WILL" we hugged. kissed and then went in , woke my parents up and told them!! :)

CRAZY HUH?!?!?! sorry for the ridiculously long post. but there you go! after that i got #3. my goodnight text from clint

WOOOO oh and...

my best friend came over and we cried, laughed, talked the night away! i didn't go to bed till 4:30a.m!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! i can't wait to be married to clint! he treats me like a queen! i love him so much and am trilled to someday be called. Mrs. Lawlor!! :) HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
